Nature of Event

2010/1/8 marked the product debut day of Adidas X Star Wars Originals in Taiwan. A big scale opening event was held at Taipei flagship store of Adidas Original. Once again, 501st Taiwan was in charge of the whole event!

This event marked day five and the last in a series of out-door trooping event by 501st Taiwan for the promotion of Addidas Originals X Star Wars.

- Decoration Of The Flagship Store -
Starting from night of 1/7, the Adidas Originals flagship store was being decorated completly from inside to outside.

- Entertained the line-up Fans -
After one and a half hour of rehersal, members of 501st Taiwan put armor on for 40 more minutes. At 18:15, five Stormtroopers and Sandtroopers appeared in front of the line-up Sneakers/Star Wars fans. The first mission of 501st Taiwan was to entertain fans of both legendry brands.

- The Open Ceremony (Video) -
When the huge speakers started to play the deep drum beats, members of 501st Taiwan began to perform! Five stormtroopers and Sandtroopers fr. 501st Taiwan Outpost marched in trained formation, dance 70s disco hit "Do Hustle" and pose in-style. Darth Vader and Imperial Officer came out from a special designed hydraulic blast door.

After the open ceremony, the flagship store turned to a "War Zone"!

- Maintain The Order by Fun -
Fans of both Star Wars and Adidas rushed into the flagship store, it was a total chaos! That was the time for members of 501st Taiwan to "maintain order".
